Hello sayang, now we’re engaged! (It’s been 159 days since the engagement day) I wanted to say these cheesy things because I feel like I don’t tell you enough and I’m sorry for this late post! First of all, thank you for being patient and always forgiving me. You always go beyond and above for me and I cannot even put into words how much I do really appreciate that.

Thank you for treated me so well, for the endless things you do for me and for the endless love even when I am most certainly the biggest pain in the ass that you could have ever imagined.

Most importantly, thank you for being in my life. You’ll never know how happy I am to have you by my side. Two years have been a series of ups and downs, twists and turns but somehow you’ve kept me sane and we’ve made it through.

These times have been pretty hard lately but let’s remember all the good things we have had and the wonderful times we can yet have together.

Dearself,

It is important to know who you are, what you stand for and how you want to see yourself. I know you are tired and I am sorry that you tried so desperately to fix others when your own hands were shaking. I am sorry I did not give you enough time to heal and I let you seal the wounds of everyone else whilst your own were bleeding. I am sorry, there were the days when smiling hurt but you forced yourself to laugh so that no one had to worry about you.

I want you to be different than yourself now but not the same as everyone else you see. I know you will be humble but not crumble under the pressure that your past self has put on you. You will thrive at your own pace as a winner of your own race but not win to gain glory or fame.

The life you have for you is your chance to follow your dreams, to discover, to develop and to enjoy yourself. I really hope you will become more confidence, kind and courageous. Embrace happiness. Pursue your dreams. You are in control of your own future and the people you choose to share your life. You are secure in yourself and that is also a blessing.

I bet you never realized how strong you actually are, right? You never thought you would fight for a broken relationship and do it with pride. You never thought you would love him if he cheated on you and I bet it shocks the hell out of you that you will never stopped loving him.

Last but not least, I am sorry that I did not love you like you deserved to be loved. But do not forget me because I am where you started and I am the voice of encouragement in your ears. Live your life.
